Songs of Silent Earth: Muses Trio’s Drought Relief Fundraiser for IWD
Muses Trio return for yet another memorable International Women’s Day event.
This concert is a fundraiser for drought relief, with all artist fees and proceeds after costs donated to Country Women Australia’s Drought Relief campaign.
Songs of Silent Earth presents a stunning curated program reflecting on the current plight of Mother Earth. With spoken word and music by living Australian women composers, the repertoire will illuminate the devastation of drought across Australia, and inspire hope for the future.
Natalie Williams’ Songs of Silent Earth is the centrepiece of the performance, featured along works by Nat Bartsch (VIC), Isabella Gerometta (QLD), Sally Greenaway (ACT), Elena Kats-Chernin (NSW), Sarah Hopkins (QLD), and Christine McCombe (VIC).
Free street parking is available, and a cash bar with drinks and delicious treats will be available from 7pm. The concert begins at 7:30pm. If you would like to help further by bringing a plate to contribute for the fundraiser, please contact therese.milanovic@gmail.com
