Live Streaming Concerts – Presented by Woodford Folk Festival
Many people have said that they wish the Woodford Folk Festival could happen year ’round. Perhaps in these strange times, we can achieve a version of this.
We have been given so much by our artists, suppliers, stallholders, volunteers and patrons and we want to use our platform to continue the sense of community that you bring to Woodfordia for The Planting Festival, the Woodford Folk Festival and into the world at gigs, shows and workshops.
From this Tuesday evening, 6PM Queensland time (7pm for AEDT), we will be using our Facebook page to livestream a programme of artists, one each night, who will perform a 30 minute concert online.
You can watch for free or watch and donate to that week’s campaign of 6 artists.
At the end of the week, 100% of the donations raised, will be split evenly between that week’s performing artists.

We have worked with an extraordinary number of artists and feel that our immediate responsibility is to those who were due to work with us imminently, along with the support of old friends who can raise the profile of these concerts.

We might be living apart at the moment, but we can still enjoy the creativity, resilience and beauty of these artists, together..
