The Jar – Presented by The Bug

Some of the wildest and most original music you will hear around sunny Brisbane. Drawing on traditional tunes and songs from all over, The JAR also incorporates originals, contemporary pop, rock and modern folk. Songs merge into tunes; Balkan dances lead into songs; lyrical airs take off into jigs and reels, and always an irresistible energy to drive the music along and get the toes tapping. The JAR, now with a new line up, are: John Druery (double bass, bodhran), John Logan (guitar, vocals), Sebastian Flynn (fiddle) and Rachel Whitney Lacey (fiddle and vocals).
