The Notes of Nature – Presented by QMO

We are starting our 2023 season with a combined QMO/QMC production. ’The Notes of Nature’ is full of music inspired by the natural world; the sun, moon & planets; gardens & flowers; rivers & rainbows; seasons and so much more! The exciting repertoire includes:

• ‘Mars’ from The Planets (Holst)
• Thunder and Lightning Polka (Johann Strauss Jnr)
• ‘Morning Mood’ from Peer Gynt Suite no. 1 (Edvard Grieg)
• ‘Flower Duet’ from Lakmé (Delibes)
• The Blue Danube Waltz (Johann Strauss Jnr)
• The Man From Snowy River Theme (Bruce Rowland)
• Somewhere Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz (Harburg & Arlen, arr. Yaguinho Lindo)
• Seasons of Love from Rent (Jonathon Larson, arr. Roger Emerson

Proceeds from this concert will be going to Rural Doctors Foundation as they help our rural communities with improved access to life-saving medical care.
